EN 455 is the central European standard for medical gloves for single use. It consists of four parts covering impermeability (AQL), physical properties, biological evaluation and shelf life.

Every medical glove sold in the EU must meet EN 455 requirements and carries the CE marking as a Class I medical device accordingly.
